Well it's official, 1130 is now commercial, and what confusion reigns. The corporate marketing techniques vs a host of maverick vrod riders. Who will win out? How many shills are on the list? How much knowledge will be lost? Stay tuned folks, The xdsfd has hit the fan, and where it is deposited is anyone's guess.

I just tried to log in and it would not recognize me or my password.

What on earth is happening over there?

Sure hope they sort it out soon. Not good.

It came back up that evening with the full commercial format. During that time a good number of members lost their cool, and moved over to either v-nation.com or ultimatevrodforum.com. The administration at the old 1130, had to make several changes to placate a number of members, but the site is full of adds for those who are just general members. Those with over 1000 posts at the time were granted premium status for 3 months.

Members claim that the site is slower, are angry at the almost neon orange background, were furious with an EVO motor being used in tag bar, down times without notification and on it went. Some of these items have been addressed, currently, but since the business model has been changed from their other sites I would expect a return to the prototype in several months once the hoopla dies down. There are a number of add applications and notifications that are currently missing from the business model, and usually don't show up until after the 3 months free-be is over.

The current 1130 does not allow competitive advertising so that those who promoted the new forums have been censored or blocked.

Buzz I don't know why you can't log on. It is up and running. At the current time there are now 3 vrod specific forums, so competition is good.

I was able to read the new version, which I do not care for, but it would not let me log on. I had to request support and got it a few hours later.

Curious what the long term viability of the site will be considering all their changes and "improvements"

I'm not very hopeful. All real bikers like to help each other out. When you go there now it feels like a business and not a forum, a "free" exchange of ideas. Maybe I'll change my tune but right now I'm not thrilled.
