Default V-Rodders Welcome Here

American Iron Magazine has been a traditional Harley magazine focused mostly on the air-cooled V-Twins. But things are changing.

As the V-Rod family grows and becomes more popular, so will our coverage of them in print.

This place is not print, and it is driven by enthusiasts who can post questions, solutions and experiences involving V-Rods.

Who knows, these posts might even open some traditional air-cooled Harley riders' eyes to the significance of V-Rods.

Sounds great but in Sydney Australia we are forgotten I have been to a dozen news agents and none carry your magazine since they are supplied by a syndicate and it is not on their list. How about sending me a copy so I may see it in print and if I like it subscribe?

Please PM me.

Ask them who supplies their American magazines aand I'll let our circulation people know to see what they can do to fix this.

Outside the US now means Canada to AIM.
Times are tough apparantly and they figure it will help if they sell less copies of their product.

Buzz, it was thanks to your article on the R in mid 2006 that conviced me to go ahead and get the D after re-reading the article just after I test rode a D. As our English speaking friends would say "That article was spot on."
(A lot of my Brit and Aussie friends have it very clear that I speak American, not English. Like the Aussies would know.)

Cute. Not accurate, but cute. As I follow them, Buzz & the AIM team wants to sell as many copies of the magazine as they can so long as they at least cover the cost of production and distribution.

From what I heard they are charging overseas subscribers about 1/3 of what it costs to produce and mail the copies. So their decision makes good sense to me. I wonder why Buzz doesn't just sell overseas subscriptions for more money to at least break even.

Thats my point - they just cancelled all the overseas subscriptions point blank.
No offer to supply the mag if we'd cover the airmail cost and no offer to send it surface mail instead - zilch.
A business decision to just piss off thousands of your customers is a pretty strange one and Buzz's decision to simply ignore my posts , here and on 1130cc.com asking for an explanation means this is one customer lost forever.
Not that I read Easyriders but I can subscribe to any of their mags for $75 - $80 for 2 years.....

I pay for easy rider and motorcyclist they charge for the delivery makes sense and seems fair to me.

MC did send me a copy free and I they subscribed. You know I get magazines from Europe no problems, seem some US companies forget there is a lot more to the world than LA to NY

Their loss.
