Default Not Many V-Rods in Milwaukee

I've been in Milwaukee for two days and have seen surpisingly few V-Rods here for the 105th anniversary.

What's the deal?

5th Annual V-Rod Homecoming is coming up in September. Thats where V-Rodders have fun. We rented out KCIR for grudge runs, and we've also got our own bike show. Gail's HD is providing their Dyno room for a dyno shootout. Of course there is the TOUR of the HD plant in KC to see the birthplace of the V-Rod and a Town-Hall type meeting with the V-Rod Platform Engineers and Designers.

No concerts, no crowds. Just a bunch of V-Rodders having a good time.

No contest, really.

I saw a few V-Rods in the parade yesterday in downtown Milwaukee, and a few on the street, but not many here this week.

Wonder why?

Alot of V-Rodders had a get together at Main Street Motorcycles aka V-Mod.com. My understanding is that there were quite a few of them. With the 105th being such a large gathering, I'm sure it's just a matter of numbers. After all, how many V-Rods were made compared to all the other types of HD motorcycles.......

My guess is it isn't a bike many take far. Some do, but majority do not.
