What handle bar options do VRSCAW riders have?

has anyone had a problem with the rear brake light switch being damaged from the heat from the stock exhaust on an '08 VRSCAW? It only has about 1/2 inch clearance from the pipe. I noticed that on the '09's the switch has been relocated further inboard away from the pipe, giving about 1.5+ inch clearance.

Yes, it happens enough to call it "common"! Strange thing was it took 12,000 miles to sizzle!?!? Maybe the constant heat weakens it.

have there been any HD service bulletins issued about the location of this switch so close to the exhaust on the pre '09's, any recalls to re-locate this switch?
