Default Forums make my bike better.

I did the black vinyl, upper fork mod on my VRSCDX (as described on that other pop forum). Cheap, easy, and it came out perfectly. This a couple weeks after doing the sportster sport bars mod, and adding pegs with heal support stirrups, for a much more comfortable cruising riding position. Which, on an '09 without abs, I was able to do without changing any lines, cables, or wires. I have found that the dealers don't see enough of these bikes to know these things- the best sources for info are the guys actually wrenching their own bikes. Keep the creativity and hands-on knowledge coming.
