Default New V-Rod Column In AIM

Curious how forum members respond to the new V-Rod column we are now running in American Iron Magazine. The first is in the March 2009 issue.

I for one am very happy about it. RJ is all about the details. You got yourself a great mag that just got a bit better. Now all Harley models are covered.

Buzz,

My response was to join this forum and I just completed my subscription to your American Iron Magazine !!! I have noticed over the 6 months or so that AIM has touched on the V-Rod from time to time and now you have a regular column and forum thread for V-Rod's convensed me that AIM is serious about covering ALL Harley-Davidsons... (Thanks from your newest subscriber)

I have an 06 and I like the column. Some people do not like or understand the v-rod and its okay, however you have many readers that do. Just like some people do not understand why I like to tour on my Road King better than on a gold wing, to each their own. Keep up the good work!

Default Re: New V-Rod Column In AIM

The new V-Rod column is great and adds one more dimension to the magazine. Although, I ride a Softail Deuce, my wife rides a 06 VRSCA with stage 1 kit, power command module and Reinhart 2-2 staggered, 105 rear wheel HP compared to my Deuce of 75HP. The only people that don’t like V-Rods, are ones that haven’t ridden them. They are a rocket ship on rails. Once in a while my wife will let me take it for a ride. After ridding the V-Rod, then getting back on my softail. It’s like going from a Corvette to a minivan. Give me a 1500cc V-Rod engine in a Softail. I'm tired of getting left behind when the light turns green.
