I would like to see them continue the meaner, lower, faster look they started with the DX. Previous VRSC models were IMHO on the "tame" side aesthetically. The F model might have made sense with bags and a windshield.
I doubt they'll ever sway the traditional crowd in big numbers so quit trying and go with the low slung, mean-a$$, black, fast, look that got the DX to sell so well.
I'm REALLY curious to see what Harley will do with the line. Are there new models scheduled? I was guessing that new offerings from the V-Rod line would be kinda slim in 2010.

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD. ----Abraham Lincoln
I would like to see a 6speed and an honest 135-150hp at the rear wheel.
I agree, especially the 6 speed transmission. Just like the big twins used to be, you are still searching for another gear when you get to fifth. Gas mileage at cruising speeds would probably improve too with another gear.

I don't see a 6th gear fitting inside the cases. There is just NO ROOM for another gear.
I'd like to see 5th gear TALLER so that it becomes a true over drive gear.

A taller 5th would impede the nicely designed ratio that exists now, with all bikes capabilities there is really no solid reason to force the issue. The original engineers knew this and did a fantastic job IMHO.
A sixth gear that continues the ratio would gain you maybe 500 less rpm at given speed, gas mileage would improve only slightly. My set-up has me at roughly 70mph and 4000 rpm's - it's barely breaking a sweat down there.
With that said I'm sure Harley will eventually do the 6th, if for no other reason than to make some sales.

I respectfully disagree. First gear is too tall. First to second is too large a ratio change, and second to third is too short. Fourth to Fifth is also too short.
Slap on a 26 tooth front pulley, and a Vance and Hines Second Gear set, and the bike has a whole new life, IMVHO.
A similar change to 5th gear to make it a true overdrive would give me a "perfect" dual use bike. Again, just one man's opinion.
