| | Re: Your favorite after market seat? I just put a Sundowner on Lil and got about 150 miles under my........belt. I love it so far. Much firmer than I imagined but thats what makes it more comfy. That and it is wider than stock which makes it a tad more uncomfortable with my legs down while stopped but also makes it much more comfy when riding. |

| | Re: Your favorite after market seat? I wish someone could make a Sundowner keeping the 2008 anniversary colors. Do you have any good custom seat craftspeople down on LI Ed? We don't up here. Odd, isn't it?

| | Re: Your favorite after market seat? Lil,
I have a guy locally who makes custom seats. I'll give him a call and see what he can come up with.
The Ford F150 sported leather seats with the anniversary colors last year. I'm sure the leather is available. It's just a matter of finding it.

There is a Father and Son operation down here with a good rep. I'll get back to you with more info. |

Thanks for looking into the info. At least I could try to connect with them when visiting family.

Friends of mine have had work done there and were happy with the price and the quality of work. An option to consider. |

| | Re: Your favorite after market seat? Ed, thanks so much. I just may look into it if all else turns up dry here. In a few weeks I hope to ride up to a woman who crafts tack and saddles. My hope is that she has a crafts-person contact for me who is well experienced with vinyl, leather and upholstery.

| | Re: Your favorite after market seat? Lil, we still have the Sundowner. I can't even guess how many miles we've had it. Probably around 10,000? After riding V-rods with the Corbin seats, we couldn't justify the expense.
