Beats me. I still have the stock exhaust. Since we ride double a lot, my wife has no desire to sit over or behind any ear-bleeder exhaust. I also refuse to ride behind anyone with loud pipes.

Is there any way I can keep that look and sewing machine sound and get rid of the weight?

Okay, I can deal. I never noticed the weight issue anyway.

It would be nice if I could use the F pipes on my D. I'd switch for that. Maybe even with some big ol' chrome fish-tail tips.

find a large empty parking lot, get going about 20-35mph, and let go of the bars. If you are seated squarely in the saddle, you will notice the bike pulling or steering towards the exhaust side. That's really the only time I've noticed the weight of the stock exhaust. I'm with you Lil, I love the look of the stockers, although I did the VMOD to add a bit more sound.
