They are ALL true, including the fact that Elvis and Michael Jackson are both going to ride the top secret new models to Sturgis for the public unveiling.

You can bet your sweet bippy that they didn't beef up the touring frame for nothing.
I'm excited to see what the second phase of the bagger transformation holds.
Long overdue, I think a tourer with the Revo engine would top the food chain (almost) LOL! I also think the faithful have eased up a bit on their lack of acceptance. I also believe with the popularity of baggers these days (at least around here) it would do quite well.

You're not the only one who has that sentiment. I have heard that from the V-Rod crew, as well as the bagger faithful for years now. There is a rumor that the F with it's dual pipes is a step in that direction. Combine that with the beefy frame on last years baggers and folks are frothing at the mouth in anticipation.
The revolution motor as it is doesn't deliver the torque that the Twin Cam does, but it definitely CAN be re-worked to deliver monster torque. A longer stroke goes a long way to address that "shortcoming." Dare I say, I'm giddy with excitement as to what the future brings.

I wouldn't call it weak on torque by any stretch. Giving it a long stroke will make it just what they smartly avoided (in the original design) by using the "square stroke" . The short stroke is it's charm. We can argue this point to death with no right or wrong but either way 126 HP (streetable) is foreign to most of the HD faithful and will sheeeet their pants once they get a taste of the Revo.
I'm sure the MOCO has built and tested all sorts of interesting prototypes, something similar to what you speak of will hit production at some point. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth among the traditionalists (which I am to a point), but it should be a sweet machine and people will adjust to it. I still remember when the EVO was introduced and the Shovelhead contingent was chanting, "See no EVO, Hear no EVO, Speak no EVO."

Please join me in this prayer daily.
This is my Granddaughter Sky, age 7. Can't walk, talk, or feed herself but look at that smile. Anyone care to complain about their lot in life? Not me!

The truth you do speakith.
I started a post a while back about how bad the AMF's were pissed on back in the day. Not so much for reliability but because AMF owned them. They weren't "real" Harleys. Impostures made by a bowling ball company. I had one and didn't give a $hit (same with the V-Rod now) but it's funny how time has changed that - same bike 30 odd years later is now revered! Time changes everything, perpetually the "traditionalists" will lower their guard and be proud of this new Harley.
BTW - AMF knew full well the trouble with the shovel heads and started the R&D into those Evo heads, funding was short, After the buy back, Willie continued and the Evo was born. AMF lives!!!
