Default 2009 Touring Rear Tire

Has anyone been wondering if the 180x85x16 tire/rim assembly on the new 09 touring bikes can be retro fitted to earlier models?
I for one would think that would be a great upgrade to my 03 Ultra.

I think the fender is also larger on the tourers to accept the larger rim and tire. I'll try to find out.

I know you can get an upgrade for the Vrod to a larger rear tire. Of course it costs over $3,000.00.

I wonder if the new frame style allows for the larger tire? On the Vrod, the upgrade fits the frame.

Being fairly new to the Harley bikes, I'll have to measure the clearence when I change my rear tire, and can get a good measurement.
