Default Crossbones to Night Train question

Will the rear wheel and tire from an 07-09 Crossbones fit onto a 08 Night Train? From what I understand my rear wheel is 18X5.5 w/ a 200 tire and the Crossbones is 17X??? w/ a 200 tire.

I know anything can fit with the modifications to other things, but are they a direct swap?

Thanks

HC- Thanks....The guy at the parts counter told me the same thing. He didn't seem very confident though.

Guys at parts counters have told me quite a few things... I've stopped going to the parts counter if certain folks are there. You really gotta get a feel for those guys. Some of them have a lot of experience and know what they're talkin' about... and some of 'em don't know jack.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

Ask the service center or a mechanic... allot of times those parts guys don't even ride.. let alone wrench.
