Default This is why we ride...

Some of you may have caught this article already--it's about a year old. But I just came across it today and it brought some brightness to my Monday.

At 80, she's still roaring up the road - The Boston Globe

Does anyone here know Margaret? Wondering if she's OK and back in the saddle. I couldn't find any kind of recent update on her condition.

Happy Monday all.

I hope through this thread we can find out how this great woman is doing. I just love people like this indomitable spirit.
As an aside, we had our own motorcycling legend here in Missouri, Hazel Kolb (The Motorcycling Grandma). She wrote her autobiography, "On The Perimeter". She rode her Harley around the perimeter of the United States at an age when many are content to sit in their rocking chair. Hazel has passed on but is certainly not forgotten.

This is my Granddaughter Sky, age 7. Can't walk, talk, or feed herself but look at that smile. Anyone care to complain about their lot in life? Not me!
