you know im in a union and the government has them by the balls and its their own fault because corruption put them there, most of the sail job when you figure it out pay time and 1/2 sam as any other job , and many of the jobs pay about 9.00 dollars and hour. there is retirement fund, but you have to qualify and there are so few jobs it takes 30 years to get seniority to retire , the month benefit is 145 dollars. The big union is eating our union and they use the money to help forien sailors because they want to get to the point were every one has to pay for a job. isnt that amazing.
