Cool Egg Head Helmets

My head is not the perfect round ball it seems most helmets are designed to fit. I have tried several and can't seem to find a comfortable fit. Last road trip I got caught in traffic and after 4 hours of stop and go I felt like my head was going to explode. Are there any other egg heads out there who have found a helmet designed for us.

It was only after Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall that he got his helmet to fit. Just going to have to try a lot on. All helmets fit a little different. Keep trying and Good Luck.

Default helmet fit

Not gonna help you; but I've never found one that didn't result in a hell of a headache after an hour or so.
I did win a free lunch fron a helmut salesman once after he made the statement that he'd bet he had one in his truck that would fit......
The only time I wore one refularly was when Illinois had a law; and even then I'd push it way back to try and relieve the pressure.
Haven't looked for another one since.
I know they're supposed to help (sometimes); but if they don't fit right, you'll probably not wear it much.

Try Arai helmets. They have several helmet profiles for various head shapes. The problem you describe sounds much like mine - After about a while (might be 30 minutes, might be an hour, but it WILLhappen) my head feels like it's being squashed front to back in a vise.
Arai has a model that is a "long oval" so it's longer front to back that the standard models. Arai's are pricey, but they always score high for safety with the gov't. and wearability with the users.
