John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

Man you are all spoiled with yer many jackets! When I was growing up I had to share 1 jacket with my 37 brothers. We walked single file (Guy with the Jacket last in line so we could block the wind for him) to school, 6 feet of snow up hill both ways in minus 86 degree temps. I had no shoes. My only pet was a rock. However when Christmas rolled around we each got a brand new shiney penny wich we had to turn over to Uncle Sam to pay for the folks that were in "need" illegally in the country.

Just got off of the Vanson web site I think it is going to be a long time before I get new leather. Oh well it took 4 years to break in the one I have.

I own 5 leather jackets but only two are used for riding. One is an off-brand buffalo leather jacket that I don't wear very often because it fits really tightly on me and the other is a Harley Owner's Group jacket that fits a little more loosely but is also very heavy.

Absolutely first rate. You've a great sense of humor - any relation to Samuel Clemens?

Thanks. I enjoyed that a lot!

I own 3 leather jackets but only 1 is for riding. It's a mid-weight and already thinking about up grading to a light summer and heavier winter wear.

I bought the Basic Skins HD leather jacket back in 2001, and it is still in great shape. I recently thought of buying a new Vanson leather jacket, the Highwayman model, but couldn't bring myself to pay that much for another jacket when the one I have suits me so well.

Leather jackets? I've owned 25 to 30 over the years. Most wouldn't fit now.

I have a Harley 'Nevada' I use most of the time and a Harley 100th anniversary jacket for the parades.

Have been through a few over the years, now only have a H-D stock leather jacket bought new last year. It's light, plenty warm for Coastal Texas, well made, and really comfortable. Plus I got a big discount on it and chaps because a friend knows the lady who runs the local H-D dealer's Motorclothes dept. Good friends are great to have.
