Default Leather Jackets

While packing for Daytona the other day I was surprised by how many leather jackets I own. While I am guessing I have more than most people (we get plenty to review over the years) I was wondering how many others here currently own.

Do you have one, two or ten leather jackets. And if more than one how do you decide which to pack for a triip ot to wear when riding?

Default TWO jackets

I have only two leather jackets. One that fits and one that no longer fits. Funny after only 15 years how a jacket can shrink so much that one can no longer zip up! I tell my self the jacket shrunk but my wife says different.
cheers!

I bought an FXRG jacket a little over ten years ago. I remember paying quite a bit for it. The only thing that killed me was that it was made in Indonesia. Other than that it has been my only jacket and I have to say is still going strong. I have been looking at some of the textile jackets lately but I hate to spend the money when my old leather jacket still looks great and is very functional.

Unhappy Leather Jackets

Must be nice!!! I have one 20 year old leather jacket that's starting to look a lot like the "weathered" jackets they sell at the shops.
Also must be nice to do Daytone or any other large ralley.
Never had the extra money or the time off at the right time.
I have drooled over a few new jackets though...just refuse to pay the overly high price they want for them. $400 or more??? Ya gotta be kidding!!

Vetter(Rex Marsee) A2(Aviator)- Worn it for 25 yrs. Still fits, more snugly than before though. It's my everyday jacket.
Avirex A2 With nose art, 50th anniv. of Pearl Harbor (91)- Very heavy jacket, good for cold weather.
Hein Gerike vented- 25 years old. Good for hot weather.

FXRG...it's been a great, all-around coat worn in 25 - 95 degree weather (although I strip it off pretty quickly at stops when it's 95....)

I own five with only two for riding. One is lighter weight for warmer days and the other is heavier for the chilly rides. They're both H-D jackets and have served me well.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.
