Default Does Leather Shrink Over Winter?

Am I the only one, or does anyone else find their leathers shrink over the winter when not being used?

It seems every year when I put away my riding leathers they seem to fit just fiine. Then in the spring when I try them on they seem tighter.

Any suggestions?

Well..., isn't the reason too many cakes, good food, and good life going in under the skin and increasing ones measures a bit?
So foul play to blame the leathers... they are innocent..

Not that I am in any position, as I;m not, believe me, to cast stones, nor nefarious aspersions …but could it be, dare one ask?

At the risk of pissin' some people with shrinking leather off, my leathers always fit just fine every year. Been a buck-sevety since highschool and still going strong.

I have no problem with my leathers in the winter. I use the winter hole on my belt. One down from the summer hole. However they can stiffin up from the dry air. Put a little conditioner on em.
