Curious what people here think of helmets when riding motorcycles?
Always wear helmets, sometimes wear helmets, never wear helmets?  |

Unless I have an uexpected passenger and no spare, my brain bucket is firmly in place. Won't ride without it, but that is my choice.

I'll wear a helmet when it's cold or raining, otherwise not too often.

N...E...V...E...R ! ! ! ! unless I'm passing threw Mass on my way to Laconia. I try to avoid any state with a helmet law! ! ! !

Always do as it is state law here also. Wear it in South Carolina and Wisc. when I visit.
Makes sense to me to wear one just hate that the government dictates. |

I just replaced my Buell F.F. with a Shoei X-11. It's much lighter with better venting. It also buffets very little at high speeds. The Buell was not near as smooth at interstate speeds. I've been hit in the head by everything out there and with no helmet, I don't know why I would put myself in that situation. A little cruise always tuns into more. IMO |
