Shoei Helmet Customer Service

Back in June I purchased the Shoei RJ Platinum-R 3/4 helmet. I immediately noticed rattling of the visor with speeds over 55mph almost to the point of making my teeth rattle. Since this is my first 3/4 helmet w/visor I thought this was the norm until I spoke with another Shoei owner who said it wasn't.

Last Thursday I emailed Shoei customer service explaining my problem. The next day a customer service rep responsed with whats your address Sir for a new visor at no charge. Today a new visor arrived in the mail! And of course no rattle. Time now for some enjoyable riding.

Glad to hear a positive story about a manufacturer. I'm thinking of buying the same helmet (different color). Did you buy it from a dealer or off the internet?
