Just want to tell you guys I bought his jacket about two weeks before the deer strike. I wanted a light weight jacket that could easily be tossed in the hardbags. The leather had to be forced in to fit. I gotta say this jacket saved my arms from becoming shredded wheat. The jacket tore slightly in several spots but kept my arms and shoulder(which hit the ground first) free from road rash. My buddy was less fortunate. His jacket tore apart along with his shirt and his arms. Its a canvas/denim type material. His arms look like roast beef. It was well worth the price. Botz

I'm glad to hear that you were wearing a durable jacket at the time. Sometimes it's too hot to convince yourself to wear one but they sure save your skin (literally!). Road rash is really rough..been there more than once.

People look at me like I am crazy when I don my leather jacket when it is ninety degrees out,........ but I feel naked without it.
I am thinking about one of those vented jackets the crotch rocket guys wear.
