Default Cargo Nets

Anyone use them? How well do they secure your load, and keep it from shifting?

Cargo nets are the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to securing an odd shaped load on the bike. Like a spare helmet or a couple of bags of groceries. Cheap and effective. The quality can vary but like bungee cords even cheapos work pretty well.

For sure, get one. I have a SAC bag that I bought at the stealership and I put it on the inside of my detachable backrest when I go on a long ride. It's great for securing my leather jacket on the front of it for something to lean back on. And as said in the previous post, for oddball shapes you can't beat it.

Not sure what you are netting down. But for the items you don't need nets for... try Rok Straps

Thanks for the info, went out and picked one up. I'll posthow well it worked on my trip. I'll be securing a large TBag on my tour pack. Last year I had to use the TBag straps, plus bungee cords to keep it from shifting.

Went 950+ miles using the cargo net. It worked great. I'm sold, I think it's a good investment.

Just make sure you get the right size for your bike and gear. I lucked out, and got the right size first try.
