This past Memorial Day I participated in a poker run at the local dealer with first prize being a new 1200 Low Sportster, and 2nd prize being an autograghed HD jacket (autographed by Willie G.) I won the jacket, and tickled pink to have won something of value for a change. Well after waiting 11 weeks and 6 days to get the jacket I ride up to the General Tommy Franks museum to pick it up. Nice jacket says I only to get it home to find out that one of the zippers is busted! Now that's what you call just plain lack of give a !@#$ on the part of the customer relations department. I went to the local dealer to check on a repair for the zipper and was told I would be better off to keep it as is; since they send their stuff out and I may not see it again. Not a big deal really since it is allegedly signed by Willie G. I'll ride with it anyhow

. Since this is an H.D. clothing block figured I'd drop that little note in here. It's a real nice jacket and fits good, and best of all it was free!

If you want to get it fixed check out a shoe repair shop or a biker leather goods store. There is a shoe repair shop about 25 miles from me that replaced the main zipper in my leather jacket. He did a great and the price was real resonable.

I was gonna suggest the same thing, a shoe cobbler or leather shop. If no luck with them, maybe a seamstress or sewing/alteration shop. Or Martha Stewart

I wish there was a shoe store with those services around where I live, I thought about that. Thanks a million for the advice. When I go home to La. maybe I can get it repaired there. Thanks again for the advice and help.

Rocky- There ought to be a Leather/Saddle shop that has the big sewing Machine around you. A lot of the Chaps they work on have zippers. You could check around.
