Default Riding Jackets

Can anyone recommend a really good quality leather riding jacket similar to H-D's FXRG line? I know of Vanson leathers, but who else makes some good quality all weather leather gear for riding?

IFC , Icon, Tour Master, ,Arlen Ness' line, Joe Rocket, and Power Trip, come to mind. Alpine Star is very good. You can't go wrong with HD's FXRG line or Vanson.

All the brands mentioned about are good, but if you want FXRG jacket GET an FXRG jacket! A good leather will last you a decade or more with good care and some minor fixes (some pocket liner is always ripping out or a zipper might need replaced, but $20 fixes them). I've seen too many people go buy some $100 look-alike trying to save a few bucks or thinking it's close enough and then wonder why it starts looking crappy and falling part in a year or two.
That being said, many of HD's jackets are made by other leather works. I love my Nevada jacket, but IFC makes the jacket and sells for $200 cheaper, sans HD logos on the snaps. But the FXRG line seems to be made exclusively for HD.

Langlitz leathers are great, they will measure you and custom make your jacket. They are more expensive than Harley jackets but they are custom made to fit you.
Good luck.

WWW.FOXCREEKLEATHER.COM. Can be custom made for odd sizes. Leather is thick. Lifetime warrenty. You also have a say on the hardware that goes on it. Made in the USA. After you order expect a call they will double check for accurate sizing before order is placed. Good group of folks

I bought an FXRG jacket ten years ago. It is an awesome jacket. It is in near perfect shape. I have not had to make one repair to it. The only thing you need to do is lubricate it a few times a year or after you get it really wet. The only thing that bit me in the ass was that it was made in Malasia. I payed $650 for it ten years ago. I would highly recommend it. My jacket is probably good for another ten years or more with the proper care.
