Living in Florida spend most of the time without a Helmet but when I do wear one went with a Light Silver Color ( Can't stand white ) Blends better with a All Black Bike with offsetting Chrome.. Black does hold in the heat and Florida Temps and a Black Helmet just don't coincide..

Living in Houston and moving to Florida - I wear black helmets. I just ordered a new N-42 black 3/4 - I would go to a full face modular - black- but I just have a hard time here in Florida with the heat. I like wearing my 1/2 helmet most of the time but just had ear surgery - and I want to use the communication system on the Ultra - so I will be using a 3/4 - Black from now on. Why black - I guess I just like black. Being the black sheep and all....

Car drivers do not see a bike, you rally believe that a coloured helemt with be visdible when a 600 lb vehicle is not.
Semi driver hit a truck truck hit a van van hits a car car hit a bike and they each say I did not see you. |

I wear black helmets because they match my bike, boots, gloves and usually t-shirt colors.
