Niagara Falls

We are in the midst of planning our first riding vacation as a long weekend over Memorial day and will be traveling to Niagara Falls. Staying on the Canadian side. Any comments on things to see and words of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Andy

Niagara on the Lake is a nice little town. It is old style and quaint with some nice little shops if you are into that sort of thing.I dont know where you are coming from but Memorial day weekend is quite often chilly in this area.

thanks adoug. we will be coming from columbus ohio. Memorial day is generally high 60's low 70's here. Can you recommend some good places to eat? I tell my wife we can eat at that place at home, let's try something different that we can't get at home.

The beef baron top of Clifton hill has good prime rib and there was a new italian place across the street that was good, try to see menus before going in any place cause some are very pricey.There are 2 casinos old and new, definitely check out the new one, the old one is right by the u.s.a bridge the new one is up by the horseshoe falls. There is a Harley store on Clifton Hill, Clares, which is a spinoff of the actual dealership in Fenwick, 15 mins west of town, take Lundy's Lane going out of town.The ride east from Niagara Falls to Niagara on the Lake is nice but you have to watch out for the tourists.

Hey beagledad, evo here. Myself my wife and three other couples from Connecticut are heading up there on August 5th. We're going to spend a week up there and also will probably be staying on the Canadian side. If by any chance you change your traveling dates let me know maybe we can hook up!

If by any chance you'll be passing Syracuse on your way to,or from the falls you have to stop at Dinosaur BBQ.--Jett
