Default Does AIM Need More Tour Articles?

We try to run a tour article in most issues of AIM. Should we run more of them and if so, in the US, Canada, Mexico or overseas?

I would like to see more 1 -2 day trips. How about some left coast trips?

I currently ride an 04 Ultra, always looking for ride ideas. Here in the Northwest, us hardcore folk ride all year. I would suggest that if you have some regional stringers, that they look for interesting ride ideas. Not just the "we rode to the event, and had a good time" stuff. Just don't drop the tech stuff, to add tour stuff. And, as tom93001 says, maybe some overnighters in the mix.

I'm riding a 05 Road Glide, and my wife rides a 05 Duece, and we love touring, We would like more articles on touring. Also I would like to see more articles on Harleys and less on the customs, after all I believe most of us are riding HD's.

Yeah, more real motorcycles. The customs are fine I guess, if you want to ride around town with your short pants, tennis shoes, and beanie helmet. I guess its supposed to look cool. I haven't figured that one out yet.
Most of us want to ride distances whenever we can, That means planning and packing. It would be good to get more info.

I agree with you, Mike and Rich. I think some more tour articles would be nice.

You might check the "GENERAL" message board .... Buzz asked that very question and was looking for some input.

That was posted on Nov 12 on the "General" board, under a thread about more "Lifestyle" articles in AIM.

Yes please. I agree with everything said above. Would like more touring articles. Mainly U.S. tours, not likely to do the foriegn tours.

Good idea, I would start with states. We plan on taking a run to Colorado this summer. We just want to take a nice drive in the mountains. We have 4 days to do it, and I have no idea what roads (or part of the state) to take.
