| | Does AIM Need More Tour Articles? We try to run a tour article in most issues of AIM. Should we run more of them and if so, in the US, Canada, Mexico or overseas? Posted by: dual carb on Oct 25, 05 7:16:21 pm |

| | I currently ride an 04 Ultra, always looking for ride ideas. Here in the Northwest, us hardcore folk ride all year. I would suggest that if you have some regional stringers, that they look for interesting ride ideas. Not just the "we rode to the event, and had a good time" stuff. Just don't drop the tech stuff, to add tour stuff. And, as tom93001 says, maybe some overnighters in the mix. Posted by: RideSlow2004 on Oct 29, 05 2:49:59 pm |

| | I'm riding a 05 Road Glide, and my wife rides a 05 Duece, and we love touring, We would like more articles on touring. Also I would like to see more articles on Harleys and less on the customs, after all I believe most of us are riding HD's. Posted by: Mike on Nov 12, 05 11:53:22 am |

| | Yeah, more real motorcycles. The customs are fine I guess, if you want to ride around town with your short pants, tennis shoes, and beanie helmet. I guess its supposed to look cool. I haven't figured that one out yet.
Most of us want to ride distances whenever we can, That means planning and packing. It would be good to get more info. Posted by: RichM on Nov 12, 05 9:17:58 pm |

| | I agree with you, Mike and Rich. I think some more tour articles would be nice.
You might check the "GENERAL" message board .... Buzz asked that very question and was looking for some input. Posted by: Poki on Nov 30, 05 4:40:44 am |

| | Yes please. I agree with everything said above. Would like more touring articles. Mainly U.S. tours, not likely to do the foriegn tours. Posted by: BILKE on Dec 9, 05 1:28:20 pm |

| | Good idea, I would start with states. We plan on taking a run to Colorado this summer. We just want to take a nice drive in the mountains. We have 4 days to do it, and I have no idea what roads (or part of the state) to take. Posted by: svatos on Dec 10, 05 5:29:30 pm | | | |
