Default First Annual Alexandria Bay River Run

In up-state New York from June 22nd-24th there will be the first annual Alexandria Bay River Run. Their web site doesn't have the 2007 events listed yet but i do expect them to have it up-dated shortly. The web site is alexbay.org and there is also some info on it on bikernet.com

Hey MYTEVO,

Just saw this old post of yours. U heading up there this year? My buddy and I are definitely going this year. He was up in that area this past summer. Said its awesome riding up there. We both went up there on another trip as far as Saranac Lake but didnt head over to Alexandria Bay. You ever been up that way? Great biker bar on Tupper Lake called Trails End. Guy named Beard owns the joint. Great place to hoist a few dozen! Botz

Botz, I haven't made a decision yet. i usually don't make a decision until a few weeks before. I usually go to Laconia every year even though i didn't go last year because the time i had planned for it was a complete wash out. I've also been considering the Horse Smoke Out in Salisbury. If i decide to go to up-state New York i'll let you know.

Sounds good. Havent heard of the Horse Smoke Out in Salisbury. I'll have to check that out too. Hoping to do a ton of riding this summer. I also have my cross country trip this summer too. 6 Weeks on the open road. Nice!

Hey MYT,

I did get up there. 999 miles round trip. Good time. Good turn out. Went through the Adirondacks. Stopped at Beards in Tupper Lake. We got pounded with rain first two days then great weather. Route 3 is a real nice road. I think next year it will be better. Botz

Glad to hear you had a good time. Rain? Sounds like Laconia! You know as well as i do, when riding in the mountains the sun could be shining on one side and pouring rain on the other!
