Default Ride report

Humm not sure if this is the right place for a ride report.
Don’t see one anyplace else so here it is.
Went for a short ride, tonight, Mrs. Cruiser is out of town so jumped on the bike rode over to Perry Fl, about seventy miles away for dinner.
It has been unseasonably warm here, left at about five thirty and it was still seventy degrees.
Perry has a lot of good restaurants, although every time I go over my new favorite one is closed.
So pick a new one each time.
Had some Italian, nothing to brag about.
Rode home, it was 60/55.
I like the ride over, back, it is farm, dairy land, with swamps/planted pines with a paper mill next to Perry.
In the summer you need to watch the deer at night, but this time of year they are hiding in the woods.
There were a lot of bikes out, especially going over.
Everyone is enjoying the nice weather while it last.

We've had a long spell of 30 below, so good for you and glad you could enjoy such a nice ride in December. I know I would.

Smile Hey,HC,wish you were here..............and I was there.

Last Saturday we set a record high of 60* around here. Nobody was out riding in it,though. Because it was also raining heavily and we still had lots of snow left on the ground from last weeks 10" blizzard,as well as the additional 3-4" since then. But, it sure was nice to wake up Sunday A.M. and find all of that (incld'g road salt) "washed-away" and "blown-dry" by high winds, before the temp. dropped again.

Woke up this A.M. to the sound of a pretty loud Harley going by (not sounding like it'd been fully warmed up yet) and outdoor temp. was only 27* So my guess is that somebody in the hood got a new toy for X-mas and just could'nt resist...
