 Field Report Daytona Bike Week 2009
Today is the official start of Daytona Bike Week and it was hot and sunny - I believe the temperature hit over 80 degrees and I got a bit if sun burn to start Daytona Bike Week off like a rookie.
Spent the day out at Eustis at the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA) classic bike show and swap meet. Lots of great bikes and old friends. I see the trend going from prefectly restored old Harleys & Indians to mild customs, bobbers and "dirty" bikes. Very cool as far as I am concerned. For a change I didn't buy anything more than lunch and some water.
Tomorrow's forecast is cooler and rain. If so I won't be hiking another hour out and hour back to Eustis. |
