Hi all,
As you get to know me, you'll get to know how much I love Vegas. I have family out there so I visit that lovely city at least twice a year. No, I'm not a huge gambler (although I do like my blackjack)--I just think Vegas is a slightly less crowded, warmer, albeit tackier New York City that's easier to get around. There's just so much to do. Lots of motorcycle events happening there year round and a cool one is coming up if you find yourself out that way. The 2009 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be at the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel & Casino (coolest casino on the strip by far and where you're most likely to hop on a craps table right near a celeb)on Sat. Dec 5. It's $49 to get into that event and, if you want to attend the racing awards ceremony the night before, you can get tix to both for $89. History buffs will probably enjoy this event a lot. This year's group of inductees has a little something for everyone:
Industry innovator Robert Bates, off-road racer Randy Hawkins, suspension pioneer Gilles Vaillancourt, off-highway rights activist Mona Ehnes, industry entrepreneurs and technological trailblazers Geoff and Bob Fox, longtime motorcycle safety proponent David Hough, noted race team manager Gary Mathers, and successful dirt-track racer and tuner Chuck Palmgren.

Enjoy!
