Summer: jeans, t-shirt, OTG sunglasses, boots
Winter: jeans, chaps, OTG sunglasses, leather jacket, leather do-rag or fleece lined leather skull-cap. gloves

To be honest; I would wear a helmet at least part of the time; but have never been able to find one that didn't result in a headache after a half hour or so.
Even bet a helmet salesman once 'cause he said he had one that would fit right...it didn't and I sure enjoyed the free lunch.

Always wear no matter how hot or cold. Live in Kansas and ride when it is 20 or colder and also when it is 110

Jacket (leather or ballistic nylon)with armor on elbows, shoulders & back
Bohn Back protector to support ans protect my lowerback and kidneys
Overpants, or riding pants with armor on knees, shins, & hips
Full gloves with armor on knuckles and double leather palms
Full Face Snell & DOT approved helmet with ANSI rated glasses under face sheild
Boots with built in anle protectors.

P.S. I went down hard years ago(100 + MPH in a race) I learned then that having the right gear on at all times pays.
