Default Helmets - Full vs Open

Does anyone know if there is any evidence that full helmets are safer than ope face ones?

If its snowing or raining I prefer a full face one otherwise I like a bit of wind on my face.

Bagger: I guess that would depends if you fell on your face or not! A full face will protect more of your noggin.

This winter when I rode home when it was -15 below zero my sheild Iced up inside with in a few miles. I ended up riding the rest of the way home with the visor up. That was cold. In that extreme cold I will not wear a full face anymore

I will use a mask/ goggles and my half helmet

Here's a site that has some info as well as a helmet diagram that shows percentages of head contact points in an accident.

I wear a helmet whenever I ride, but never been comfortable in those full helmets.

I feel they are too restrictive and I lose the feeling of riding sort of like when driving a car.
