Default Dangerous Tires?

I am amazed at how seldom people check the tire pressure on their motorcycles.

It takes only a moment and you can still pump free air at most gas stations.

Yet underinflated tires can cause the bike to handle poorly and even fall off the rims when riding at speed.

So here's a simple skill anyone can master. Check your tire pressure at least every month or more often. A tire gauge costs less than lunch at McDonalds.

Hey 47,

Funny you mention that. Checked my front yesterday and was down about 5lbs. I noticed it when wheeling bike outta the garage. Your dead on about the handling. Even wheeling out of the garage I noticed the front feeling sloppy. Good point! Botz

Yep, an air pressure gauge...
Good deal.

Was it the Star Wars one? Becuase if it is, they work properly only on Death Star tires.

Not to mention that running on poorly inflated tires dramatically reduces their life span. I remember reading somewhere that on average, a standard tire can lose 1-5 lbs of pressure per month, depending on weather, usage, etc.
