Sometimes there's that uncanny feeling you get when you're about 20-50 feet from overtaking someone and you say to yourself, "that's the kind of knucklehead that's going to change lanes for no reason without a turn signal and without looking. A gut feeling, sure, but it gives you just enough to make you switch a lane or hurry up and pass. Sure enough, once you're clear, you check your rearview... and there's that knucklehead pulling into what would've been your path, without a signal.

John 1:14
It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD. ----Abraham Lincoln

You just don't get that in a car or truck. Being open like that I think does open your mind a lot and those little sixth sense feelings can save your life if, that is, you listen to those little voices. So, yeah, BlueBob I'm with ya on this. All the way!
I watch the front tire, it will start to turn just before the vehicle does, and it is enuff time, usually for me to react.
Also, people tend to turn the steering wheel just barely as they look in the mirror, so the vehicle will nudge to the left just before they make the move....with no signal.......
they cant see with thier head lodged up thier...............

I am constantly changing positions in my lane to help put myself in a better spot to see what the hell is about to happen in front of me It's up to us riders to look out for ourselves!
When I first started to ride, buddy told me3 things to survive on a bike.
First was mentioned above....watch the front tire.
Second was to ride like you are invisible.....
Third is loud pipes will get you noticed......
