Default gotta love those "stealers"

went to bruce rosmeyer's boston harley on saturday to get a maintenance free battery for my 1992xlh. went to put it in my bike on sunday and lo and behold the battery terminals on the new one were backwards and my leads weren't long enough. as it turns out the parts guy read the part numbers wrong and gave me the wrong battery. they gave me the right one today. so just another case of buyer beware I guess. next time ill have to remember to check my merchandise before I leave the dealer.

Default Dealer

Did not know Rossmeyer was outside Fla. Don`t know how many dealerships he has but at least 3 here. If he would just train his people ! I know I expect too much. For comparison try J&P. Super sharp.

evo: they are open on sunday but I had to work till 3 and stealer closes @ 4 on sunday.

wright: apparently brucie owns 14 shops\stores now.. like 8 in fla 2 in colorado 1 in missouri 1 in tennessee and 2 in massachusetts. I don't know how it is across the country but only one spot in MA sells bikes the other is an apparel only job on the swankiest boston street. he bought the dealership last year and cleaned house.. least now you can get a bike there for damn near MSRP.. was never pssible with "cycleshaft" (as it was affectionatly called here)

least I am fortunate enough to have the flhtc so I could enjoy the 45 degree sunny after noon yesterday

The parts department is like a rotating door. You gotta Check your part before you leave the dealer.

Damage: Shame on you for taking the wrong part home.

The parts counter at my local dealership is about 50/50. I won't wander over to the parts counter unless I have the part number of what I want or I know I won't get the attention of a couple of particular individuals.

I've had to pull the catalog out of their hands, flip to the page, and point to the part I needed.

"Oh... well how about that" they said through a dazed expression.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

I have had this problem from time to time. But now I know the parts guy(ince he gets most of my money) - he now actually "helps" me.......amazing....
