Default Buddy Stubbs Harley in Phoenix

Had a fender "link" fall off my scoot (Springer) when it had 1K miles. Took it BACK to Stubbs the get the part replaced and I'm told "Not covered by warranty" because I didn't have the bike serviced there. So, I even file a complaint with the Gov't over the issue ( Like I'm pissed, you know?) OF COURSE, I never hear back from Stubbs or the Gov't, so I realize that NO Harley (Or a lotta cars) have ANY warranty unless you are willing to bend over at the stealership and get RIPPED. That's the way it is!!

Have a nice day!!

I’ll tell you what I would do, I would post this in every forum that I could find, and send each link to that post to the general manager and the service manager of Stubbs, let them see what this is going to cost them not to fix it.
If you need any help with doing that let me know.

Default Yep it was brand new

Bought it from Stubbs because it has a Carb. Didn't want FI, as I did not want to be married to a dealer comnputer for God know what if the "check Engine" light came on.

I do all my own work and do it a lot more often than what is called for, but NOOOOOOOO warranty.

Just had a Memorial Service for my best Bro today. He died on the road coming back from Flagstaff last Sunday.

Rest in peace my brother.....

Buddy Stubbs HD in Phoenix is not the place I would go for sales or service. Most pompous jerk sales people I have ever met. they act like they are doing you a favor just talking to you. Looks like success went to their heads.

Sorry to hear about your bro, Pointman.
A lot of dealers like that don't realize that their best advertising is word of mouth and with the internet both the good and the bad travel fast. Magnusson-Moss, as you probably know, doesn't require that the dealer do the service. They could probably get reimbursement from Harley under warranty if they were not more interested in being jerks. Even if they have to absorb the cost of the part they would have a customer who would buy from them again and refer his friends.
