 What is wrong with harley dealers?
I went to my dealer here in town to get some info on a new bike and tech. advice for the same.
Talking with one of the managers went down hill fast. I believe new bikes here in Calif. come with catalytic converters from factory. So where is the damn thing I asked. He directed me to the parts guy standing around with his thumb up his bung. Oh yea he said, right on the front of engine, the black can there. So I walked over put my hand on this black plastic can with vacuumn hoses coming out of, you mean this? Yep thats it. WTF !!!thats a evaporative charcoal cannister I thought to my self. But before that revalation I was advised if I put on another type of exhaust pipes the engine would run rich??? That was another WTF for me, all in the same 20 mins.
Does any one know a dealer in the Santa Maria, Ca. area who knows what there selling and how it works?
I want to buy locally but I hate to see there service dept. |
