Default Chrome Masters

Has anyone used chrome masters chrome plating service, If so were you happy with the job? Just got my outer primary cover back after six weeks and its not what I would call show quality chrome. The copper plating is can be seen through some small spot near the bolt holes and the chrome is slighty yellowed near some of the bolt holes. trying to save a few bucks guess I should have shelled out $300.00 to the Harley Dealer.

I had a similiar problem with Brown's Plating years ago. Send it back and make them do it over. 6 weeks is a long time for plating and it will probably take longer this time now that the weather is getting better. Yellow chrome is unacceptable. You know the old saying...."The squeaky wheel get's the grease". I would tell them you dont want to wait 6 weeks either. I'm sure you paid enough for it too. Botz

I haven't used Chrome Masters but I did recently use Brown's via a HD dealer. I sent a twin cam points cover chest, a touring center tank console, and two heat shields from an E Pipe. Got charged $400!!!!! I about CHOKED!!!!! $100 apiece for a friggin heat shield? Brown's... good luck in the future, you'll never get another dime of my money!
