Default Forking By Frank

Years ago I got some great fork tubes from a company called Forking by Frank. I was helping a pal reduce the length of the forks on a chopper that had gone way over the top.

Anyone know if they are still in buisness?

Man, now your showing your age. Back in the day I had a set of his tubes on my shovel. Quality stuff. I haven't heard anything for years but did a quick search and found- Franks Maintance and Engineering

Forking By Frank is still in buisness and run by his wife Mary. Good people!

Actually I have to disagree. I ordered a pair of tubes for my FXD from Mary and they arrived very quickly but they were dinged up with machine marks. there was no way they were going to hold oil. I called Mary and she asked to have them sent back which I paid to ship them back. She had the machinist look at the tubes and when I called again to follow up, she said it was due to installation! They weren't installed yet! She would not allow me to explain where the marks were and kept repeating over and over it was installation. I couldn't get a word in to request another pair to exchange and then she hung up on me. I never raised my voice nor cursed. I called her back immedialtely in which she asked why I was calling again!! UNBELIEVABLE! She needs to retire and get out of the business. I'm now out $230 and have dinged tubes ***DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!***
