| | I agree with Fenderplayer, that is one beautiful 1940 Indian Four, and it is great to see it is not rusting away in some stuffy museum, but exercised frequently and giving great joy to Dale and all the visitors to his fine museum. I am going to post a video on Servicars next that features the cutest Servicar operator EVER. Those are all on www.caimag.com, Classic American Iron Magazine. And then look for an incredible video series where Dale and crew have to start up an old Harley that had been setting in the elements on its owner's front porch for more than 35 years without ever being started or run. |

| | I have always loved the 4 cyl. bikes, Indians, Hendersons, etc. My wife and I were at the museum in June '06 admiring their Henderson when one of the guys hopped on and started it....pure music!

| | Hey Mike that is cool, I was at Maxton with Buzz and Dale sitting on Buzz’s thirty one waiting for him to race when Dale came over and kick started the bike.
I was talking to my wife on the phone at the time saying "you’ll never guess what I am doing" when he started it.
Almost fell on the ground laughing it was so neat. Quote:

What was Buzz's old Harley like to sit on and how does it compare to a new Harley? |

| | At www.CAIMag.com, we have three videos of 1) A pair of Indians circa 1911 2) a Pair of Excelsiors, same era 3) And probably the only Thor in running condition in the world. Dale starts 'em all up and even runs a few around the yard. And I always thought those early motorcycles were so fragile and delicate that they would decompose if you started them -- guess not. I love that Dale and crew have these wonderful bikes and they aren't locked away just for display purposes only, and I love the fact they are sharing these videos with us. They have some awesome stuff "in the can" and we are trying to post them on a regular basis. Look for the cutest Servicar operator ever very shortly. |

| | It felt very foreign, very light, and just different. I have a solo spring seat on my bike, so the bounce was similar, and the seat was very form fitting so it was comfortable.
It just didn’t feel like the new bikes feel. Like things were not finished.
Everyone walking by and giving the thumbs up was cool.
I was surprised the attention that I got during the event, even when I was off by myself. Remember one real sharp gal giving me much more attention this old biker was used to.
Really felt like “I still had it,” only to realize latter that it was because I had been hanging out with Buzz and Dale.
Still felt good. Don’t think I would want it all the time, but sure enjoyed the weekend. Quote:
