Talking New Members Welcome

Welcome all to the American Iron forum for Harley-Davidson, Indian, and other American-made motorcycles. Take a moment here to introduce yourself, tell us a little about yourself, what you ride, and where you are located. In fact, a lot of that info should go in your signature becuse often we find many members ask technical questions, and leave out this vital material delaying our more skillful members from responding to the questions or giving the most complete answers. Enjoy yourself here. Remember it is not a contact sport, so be considerate of others.

Default Old Dog, but new here!

Hello, I stumbled on this site a week ago looking for info on 45 parts. I have been reading the posts and posted a couple myself. There are so many categories here I haven't read through them all, but I think this site is pretty cool! I'm in the "thumb" of Michigan and have been riding Harleys for 40 years and a homemade scooter before that. Last year I retired out of the phone company (was Michigan Bell, now AT&T) after 37 years. I ride a 93 90th Anniversary Electra Glide and a 72 FLH that I've had for years. I've got a couple of other Shovels another 72 FLH & a 74 FXE that I picked up in the late 80's BEFORE Harley went nuts. They are not pristine by any means they show their age. I've rode'm like I stole'm!

Today it's heading for 80 degrees (only the 2nd time since last year) I'm going to try to sneak outta here on the scoot before my wife comes up with something for me to do!

Yep..nice day today...heading out myself,shortly...possibley to Power's Diner in Pt. Huron for "Chili & Sliders"...taking LONG way back via known "restroom-routes" duh !?!

Post Re: New Members Welcome

New guy from Colorado Springs, I've been visiting the site for the last two years and finally decided I'd join you all. I've learned alot about Harley's from this site and kick myself for not joining before. I've been on motorcycles for 45 years. I now ride an 08 Wide Glide and getting ready to install new pipes, intake and ThunderMax. I've found out that if I want information on harley's just checkout this site, if the information isn't here you all will provide it or at least point me in the right direction. Keep up the good work.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.
