Talking From PA

Hello,

PaintedFace here from cold & windy Pa.
Ride a 2007 electra glide standerd. Been riding some sort of bike for most my life from mini bikes,(as a kid) trail bikes to Harleys. And this is my third Harley.
Been a little disgusted w/ the moco here lately but still love to ride my Harley when ever & where ever I can !

Welcome to the site and we hope you enjoy the company.

We like to think of this as a place where Harley enthusiasts can meet, hang out, and swap information and stories.

Glad you like your bike even if you aren't happy with the company. Hope it works out soon.

Thank you. You are not an old man on a bagger unless you feel like one.
What you really are is a man that graduated to the big boys !

Hello FatBoy,

I just saw the new FLSTSB Soft Tail Cross Bones at a local dealership.
The bike rocks ! I do not care for the ape hangers but the bike is awesome.

I like the FXCWC "Rocker-C" also but not as much as the new cross bones.
MRSP for the cross bones is $16,795 & the Rocker-C is at $19,495.
Both are one seaters. Well the rocker has that fold out seat but I don't know any women that would want to sit on that little seat, do you ?
I would not buy either bike as I feel they are nothing more than a rich mans toys. At those prices I would buy a Road King Classic.
Now, if & when I win the Pa. lottery I will buy them both !

PaintedFace p.s. ain't it a bitch ridding Harleys on Pa. roads ?

I know what you mean about the roads, A buddy of mine was just coming out of a turn when he ran into a pile of road apples. If he had been leaning any more, there would have been no way to pull out. Just think, another month and a half and the potholes will start blooming. I haven't seen The Rocker or Crossbones yet. Saw the Fatbob for a brief moment and then it was sold. I like all 3 because as long as HD keeps producing new models they'll keep peoples interest. Just wish they would stop discontinuing popular models like the Deuce and the Wideglide. They also need to keep the Springer as an option.

P.S. How far are you from Lancaster?

Hello Fat Boy,

Not far from Lancaster at all. I live in Lancaster.
Speaking about the springer, the new Crossbones has a springer ront end.
You gotta stop down to Lancaster H.D. to see it !

I stop in there usually monthly, bought a sportster off of Bill S. last spring. Their open house should be late April/Early May. Hopefully they'll have the new models ready for the demo rides, then again they'll probably treat them like the CVO's and keep them under lock. We'll have to exchange info and get together and burn up a few miles.
