Just joined the forum, ride an '83 XLX-61. Had it for 19 years now and will probably never sell it. Numerous subtle mods - here are a couple of pics I took last Saturday.

Sweet old bike! Did it come stock with twin disc front brakes? Welcome to the forum, great bunch of folks here

Thanks. Yes, it was the last Ironhead year to have dual front discs. I replaced the rotors with drilled ones and put Kevlar pads on. The front end has also been upgraded with Progressive springs, a Screamin' Eagle fork brace, and a Nesscafe' front fender.
