Default new from VA

I have an 07 night train that I finally put pipes, intake, and fuel pac on. No more pipe envy. In fact I joined cause I've started having a check engine light, hard start, and poor run issues. It ran great through the first 2.5 tanks I've been through since. but not now. I'll post these issues in other forums and see what I get. Wish me luck. I need to ride soon but don't want to hurt anything so it sits till I figure it out.

I'll have to get my daughter to help out with the photos. I haven't learned to do that yet.

Welcome to the forum, Mighty Mouse. I'm sure there will be others that will be able to offer ideas, do a search for diagnostic trouble codes I think someone recently posted the procedure on this forum, it will tell you where the trouble lies to some degree. Were you able to get the settings for your brand of pipes from Vance and Hines, it sounds like your fuel air mixture is not right at certain RPM's and throttle openings. I'm not much help on the Fuel Pack..I went with Power Commander.
Hey, I know how you feel getting the daughter to show you how to post pictures...these kids now of days take to these computers so naturally. I get help from my kids then I ask, "Can you do that a little slower so I can see what you did?"
Ride safe and God bless, Sincerely: Shovelmike.

I'm gonna check the fuel pak tonight and make sure all my settings are still the same. Since I did change the air intake I might as well make sure something hasn't worked loose there and might be causing a vacuum leak.

Found my problem with it running poorly. My new intake requires a vacuum line from the map sensor. The hose going to it split right at the nipple. New hose, couple of tie wraps to prevent from happening again, and good as new.
