Default New from Apple Country

howdy,

I found this forum in a search engine for, uh what I can't remember! (oh ya, removing the fairing)....but I was impressed with the site so decided to join. I have a 1980 FLH, a '93 Softail Classic and recently purchased an '05 Electraglide Standard. Yup, that's right, I now own a twinke (never say never!). I joined up mainly for info on the new bike, but it looks like there's something here for everybody. Thanks for bein' here! John

Welcome to the forum. You are getting a great collection going there, a Shovel, an EVO , and a Twin Cam (hate that name-twinkie!). As you can see on my post I believe in having a variety as well.
The '05 should serve you well as long as the valve seal issue was addressed (I believe it was a recall so should be OK). Other than that keep an eye on those cam chain tensioner shoes...you will find many informative threads here regarding the hydraulic tensioner upgrade, gear drives etc.
