Yesterday morning I went and paid off the remainder of my bike. I should be picking it up from the dealer on 3 March...may have to wait a couple of days after that, but it's no big deal

Shovel- Thanks I will try and enjoy it as much as possible. I'm getting home right in time for the Southern California weather to be perfect for riding.
JC- Thanks man. It was a toss up between the night train and a road king. Waiting for it won't be so bad. I'm still in Iraq and it should arrive just shortly after I return home. I may push the pick up date a bit myself. Either way early March I'll have it.

Good deal. Just make sure you get yer butt back in one piece! You will have to get use to riding the super slabs of the great USA all over again. But man, It will be a treat. No place like home!
If you miss Iraq... Just ride down a few gravel roads.
Oh I forgot. That only gives you very little time to finish the job and bring the rest of the Men and Women home with you.

I'd like to be able to bring the rest of them home with me so they, too, could return to their families and loved ones. In my honest opinion it is time for us to pull out of here. We can do no more for Iraq and pumping money into them is not the solution. They need to be weened off of the coalition tit and made to do everything themself. I could go on and on, but I'll stop.
I'll make it home in one piece, hell I got one foot out the door now.
