Default Son's trip to Siberia

[/IMG] My 19 yr. old son hanging out with one of the conductors on the Trans Siberian Railroad.
He just returned from a 3 wk. mission trip, he preached, baptised, visited orphanages and drug and alcohol rehab centers.
He returned with 600 pictures many of which show him playing with some adorable children and visiting with some equally adorable young Russian girls![IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

This is my Granddaughter Sky, age 7. Can't walk, talk, or feed herself but look at that smile. Anyone care to complain about their lot in life? Not me!

Hey Mike,

Good for him!! I'de be happy never leaving the good ole USA BUT there are many places overseas I'de like to go. Awesome he gets to see other parts of the world at such a young age. Hopefully I will be riding Ireland next year. I'm sure he has some good memories from over there. Be safe......You been riding much Mike? Botz

Good evening, Botz. Yeah, the kid has seen some places I've never been.
The wife and I have gotten out fairly regularly, on some day trips. Haven't been able to break away to on long trips. Finishing up on the main bath. Tore out old tile and soggy moldy sheetrock. Replaced with Hardybacker and new tile. When that sets up I need to grout, then maybe we can put a few things on hold and sneak away for a while.
I believe you were getting ready to tackle a similar project, how did it go?
Ride safe and GOD bless. Sincerely: Shovelmike.

Hey Mike,

The bathroom is finished. Many delays with suppliers and also damaged merchandise BUT its done and looks awesome. I've become very disgruntled with people. If I told you how many times wrong materials were ordered (not by me), broken merchandise, delays and more delays. Frustrating!! Hope you have better luck than I did. Botz

Glad to hear that you have that project behind you. I know what you mean about wrong/damaged material. We opened several boxes of tile only to find that many were broken, going to take those to customer service at the store and hopefully they will do right.
