Hope everyone is getting out and voting for their favorite candidate. Speaking of voting I hope this is OK to post. My stepson Joe is a movie fanatic who will be going to college for film making. He's a good kid who causes no trouble. He has entered a contest entitled "My Worst Fear". Im gonna ask you guys to vote for him if you wouldnt mind. Its become quickly apparent that votes are accumulated by who knows the most people not film quality. Im not saying Joe's film is the greatest but a few extra votes couldnt hurt. He is applying for colleges now and it would be nice to include a win on his resume. He only needs to place in the top ten which is possible to do. You dont need to join or register to vote. I voted. I liked his choice of Black & White. I didn't think the younger folks were into non-color stuff, but B&W gives an immediacy that I like with films. I envy him for starting out in films. I'd love to do that myself, but I'm such an old fart that there's no way I would remember what I've learned. And I'd just want to make pornos anyway.
Hey guys thanks. Joe will appreciate it. He's heavy into old time movies...hence the black and white. Hes a big Jimmy Stewart fan. Seems a bit odd to me for a kid of 17 YO but what the hell.
