Default And it begins (Firearm Control Measures)

Granted this is something we all should have foreseen; more stringent firearm control measures. Why can't they just leave our damn guns and gun rights alone!

THOMAS (Library of Congress)

Here's a link to sign a petition to stop it:

Hey UFB
In keeping with the above,I started a thread on this subject not long ago..that condenses what you've got for us here, into simpler terms. And just figured the link to it (below) might be of some help

More on the Obama-nation

Meanwhile,I'm not big on filling out Internet Petitions. Because all too many of them are just startered by opportunists to gain personnel info to sell or use for their own "whatever" reasons. But, I googled the RMGO that you provided the link for, and found them to be a legit non-profit org. So,my info, etc, went off to them..and,I'm hoping others will do that much, if not more..like contacting their representatives directly as I continue to repeat:

LOSE YOUR 2'nd AMMENDMENT RIGHTS AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW

evo- My bad, man...I don't even know how I missed that post, because the title alone would of made me stop in and check it out.

Low and (explicitive) behold the kid the bill is named after is from Chicago...YOU DON'T SAY!!!!

Man 'o man are we in for a rough ride these next 4 years.

I guess I better be careful what I post and say seems how I just dropped my paper work for a Top Secret security clearance, but really at this point and time I don't give a damn. I would rather have my freedom, democracy and rights!

UFB...no bad on your part !!
My thread title was'nt clear on what it was about...some who skipped mine may have gotten the message here...it can't be said too many times...you provided a link to the RMGO (for example) that I did'nt...and,I only furnished the link to mine here as a back-up to yours offering a brief over-view for those who might not take the time to try to digest/interpret the entire bill

Man o' man...you're right about having a rough ride ahead of us for the next 4 years. But hopefully we can get thru it and the morons who elected the SOBama and all the other delusional DEMOCRATS in congress, etc, will wake up and smell the coffee...on this and other matters.

Don't be shy folks...speak-up now...speak-out often...it's the "silent majority" that's allowing the "activist minorities" to pull off all their crap.

well you know - I have started buying ammo - seems that the price has tripled and you can't find certain kinds - now I have a bunch of 9 MM ammo I am looking to buy a gun for - so I think it will be a S&W 40 16+1 - but you see that ammo is hard to find also. I was at the gun show last weekend and I have never seen as any people walking out with crates of ammo..... I did get to pick up some on the new Hornady Civilian Defense ammo for my Walther - so life is good......

This particular bit of legislation has been proposed by Bobby Rush. It has no co-sponsors and will probably die in committee.

There are other bills that are more of a worry, but I don't see this one seeing the floor, ever.

RJ

You touched my pissy bone when you mentioned Bobby Rush, a member of the Black Panther party in Our American Government-------shameful....!!!

You know how the Pinkos are always accusing Republicans of being criminals and racists and evil etc etc........

Well, the Democrat party is the one with a Klu Klux Klan Grand Wizard currently in congress for decades,,,, the party with one or is it 2 Black Panther members, the party that had Tom Hayden as Kaliforgnia state senator and assemblyman,. he's one of the founders of the SDS, a far-left student organization that affiliated itself with the Panthers and the North Vietnamese and one of the Chicago Seven that encouraged the riots at the 1968 Democrat convention..
It was all Democrat Governers that stood in the doorways of schools to stop intergration in the 50's and 60's-------and THEY want to take our 2nd amendment rights away------Holy Cow..!!

First off, I don't ever want to be near your "pissy bone."

I do agree with you that there are folks elected into our government that have no credibility. One of the reasons that this bill had no co-sponsors and the very reason I expect it do die in committee.

I'm a part-time reloader of .270 bullets using a Lee handloader. I tried to get some Speer 130 gr. BTSP recently. I use about a hundred every 15 years. It's incredible. I couldn't find any locally, at a gun show and it took a week of searching the internet to find one box of bullets. Luckily, I had some powder and primers. There are none - I repeat - none in stock at any internet supplier much less locally.
Out of curiosity, I searched for .357 and .45 cartridges on line. None exept for high priced 20 rd. boxes of +P or specialty ammo.
My friends at two gun stores laugh when people call them for ammo. They can't get any. The supply has dried up from their distributors. The distributors say that there are no more raw materials to make rounds with.
I can't believe what is going on.
Just as I had saved enough to buy what I've always wanted. A 1911 type .45. There are none available. Kimber has a backorder for over 100,000 pistols and they only make 125,000 a year. My buddy says he can order one and it would take at least 6 months to get it, if I ever get it. And that's only for a gun that doesn't need to be polished. They are not making anything that needs to be polished because it takes too long to manufacture the polished guns and they are trying to make as many non-polished pistols as they can to fill orders.
I'm not even going to discuss price. $450 guns going for $900. AK-47's going for $750. Cheap SKS's that used to sell for $100 are now $450. It's unreal. Like the Twilight Zone.
